Questions that come up.
Do guests need an account?
No. Anyone holding the link joins from their browser. Accounts exist for the people who host, bill and administer, not for the people they invite.
Which browsers work?
Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on desktop and on mobile. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
Where is the media processed?
In the region you choose. On Business it follows the participants for the shortest path. On Enterprise you pin it to one region and it stays there.
Can we run it inside our own network?
Enterprise customers can host the media layer in their own VPC. Write to sales and we will scope the deployment with your infrastructure team.
What happens to recordings?
They land in your storage on your retention schedule. When you delete one it is gone, including from our backups, within 30 days.
How many people fit in one room?
25 on Starter and 150 on Business. Enterprise rooms go further once we have sized the event with you.
